Growing up, she very quickly realised that she had a feminine self. The desire for individuality drove her so strongly, Lakshmi went on to become a Bharatnatyam dancer, she became the first UN ambassador for the Asia Pacific region representing civil rights. She became a petitioner for the rights of transgenders and won the case in the Supreme Court in 2014. This conversation celebrates fluidity of the self, gender, and everything Laxmi stands for.
