A polarising question: is there a Muslim population explosion in India?
Right wing groups often evoke a religious demographic war: “Hum paanch, hamare pachees”. The idea that Muslims have 4 wives & procreate indiscriminately.
Is there any data to back this claim? Or is it just ugly negative propaganda? How should one look at the population question in India?
