Lucky Oye!”, “Love Sex Aur Dhokha”, ”Shanghai”, “Bombay Talkies” and “Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!”. Commenting on the current political scenario in the country, Banerjee says that “the problem is much bigger than just the BJP or the Congress” and that he has enough poisonous anger to make films for the next 15 years. Banerjee also says that he started making films to become famous and make money but slowly things started changing and that’s when he came to be known as “dark” and “edgy” because his films tried to show the real world.
