Ajeet Bajaj and his daughter Deeya don’t just chase adventure. They define it

He’s an adventurer not just of spirit but of body.

Ajeet Bajaj is the first Indian to have skied across both North Pole and South Pole, as well as the Greenland Ice Cap and in a riveting 25 minute presentation he – along with adventurer daughter Deeya – offered a jaw-dropping visual peek at what the reality of those adventures looks like.

It looks like -60 degrees centigrade; it looks like exhaustion and near-death experiences at every turn; it looks like isolation and utter loneliness; it looks like years of training and and hardship for those few moments of exhilaration when you arrive where virtually no-one has gone before.

And each time Ajeet plants the Indian flag on a corner of the globe it may never have otherwise reached, it becomes worth it all over again.

This was an evening of celebrating endurance of spirit, of body, of career – just the uplifting conversations we needed in a city currently bogged down by smog and survival issues.
